Southern New England Conference
Definition
A Lay Pastor (LP) is a lay leader (ordained elder) chosen by the Conference and voted for a congregation assigned. Character, leadership, spirituality, loyalty to the church, theology, and cooperative spirit must be demonstrated. The Lay Pastor will receive a stipend to serve in the assigned congregation.
